Allow the user to set the Inactive time period before turning off bluetooth
The Turn Off bluetooth when not in use feature should translate to huge battery savings. But i would like a small addition along with an explanation.
What exactly is your definition of "not in use"? I guess it has to be a period of inactivity? If so, it should be notified to the user in the customization options, and also, he should be allowed to choose how long to wait before it is turned off. Like the other settings, even for turning off bluetooth, i would like a "per bar" selection. No turning off @ 7 bar, Turn off after 4 - 5 minutes @ 6 bar, 3 minutes for 5 bars and so on. |

RE: Allow the user to set the Inactive time period before turning off bluetooth
Hi
Not in use means it is not currently active. E.g You do not have a bluetooth headset connected to your phone. Unfortunately monitoring the device's features to turn them off after a certain period of idleness would likely increase the power consumption of the application and negate the battery savings. We are still researching what we can and can not do whilst still maintaining the savings so we will keep you posted. Thanks Mark, Ravensoft |
