Stops updating (and missing tweets)

Hello. Just purchased Tweets60 after having a look at the various Twitter apps. Love the program and generally it is working well. But...

When it has been running a while it stops updating; new tweets stop arriving. Usually after over 6 hours of use.

- Forcing a "Refresh" does not help.
- Shutting the app down and restarting sometimes fixes the problem, but...
- sometimes I have had to turn the phone on and off and restart the app.
-Did not seem to get this problem with the free version (but maybe I just didn't notice)

Is anyone else experiencing this? Is there a problem?

- Tweets60 Pro 1.38.1
- Network "3" UK

Hi TB, Same thing started happening to me today, i have been using the free version for a few weeks now and just upgraded to pro. It worked for a day then stopped updating.

Tried re-installing both versions from scratch but there is no traffic, it asks for username/pwd but i receive no tweets.

I then read something on the OVI store site that worked, i was using WAP to update tweets but maybe the throughput wasn't sufficient so i tried using the internet which worked ok. I assume wifi would work ok also.

Never had this problem on the free version.

Interesting. Tweets Pro behaved a lot better last week - only needed to be restarted once 'cos it had "got stuck".

Difference? Set the update interval to 30 mins rather than the 10 or 5 I had been using previously. Leads me to think that it must freeze during an Update action; the more of them that happen the greater chance of it going wrong.

Incidentally, using internet to connect (and always have) rather than wifi or WAP.

Another snippet of information. The app stopped updating again yesterday, so - instead of restarting - I tried tweeting.

Suddenly, 4 hours worth of tweets arrived.

i've got the same problem, only i'am using the free version.
Trying the 30 min. interval now...

The 30 min. didn't work for me.
What i discovered was that i only see the tweets from people as they replay to me...

Also i've one tweet frow a few days ago standing at the top

I have exactly the same problem! No updating tweets, except my own and those from people who reply to me. I have the Pro version, and even installed it twice, as I imagined an updated version might work better. Nope! Extremely frustrating . Oh, and my Nokia is a N97, BTW.

Hello again. On Friday the application prompted me to install version 1.40.0 - saying this contained a bug-fix for a problem with location-aware tweets stopping a refresh.

I ran Tweets60 Pro 1.40.0 continuously from Friday evening 'til Monday evening, updating every 10 minutes. It worked flawlessly.

Excellent, I thought. But on Monday evening it stopped and I had to restart the App. Then missing tweets appeared. Left it running overnight and it stopped again about 12 hours later.

So, definitely improved. But there is still a bug lurking somewhere.

Same problem... not updating. But when I close the program and then run again, updating comes back. Well, it supposed to be updating all the time, not stopping awhile...
